Reflections on the Endless Worlds of Kabbalah:
A Nonlinear, Dynamical, Holistic, Wisdom System!
Kabbalah is a very powerful system for health, healing, personal and universal evolvement.
I am not by any means a salesman of, or for Kabbalah. It doesn't need one. It is not a brand name nor something to
be patented or sold for that matter. It is also not merely an ancient relic (and therefore irrelevant today).
It is at once infinite, inclusive, uplifting and ever-expanding! We are also seeing daily how new discoveries in science and engineering are in fact rediscoveries of what our ancient wisdom masters understood eons ago.
This indicates that science indeed relates to spirituality - that is, they overlap. This does not mean that spirituality reduces down to science or that the present state of the art in science explains or "proves" the existence of spirituality. It means more precisely that both domains are expanding and intersect with each other.
Kabbalah is a nonlinear, dynamical, holistic, WISDOM system that goes far beyond all
aspects of time and space while simultaneously focusing upon our physical/material reality. What we presently understand about such systems comes from relatively recent (last 40-50 years) discoveries in science and engineering. Some of these discoveries, such as about the nature of complex and chaotic systems have indeed revolutionized society's view of the world we live in. Let's discuss each one of these
key descriptors in reverse order:
- Kabbalah is fundamentally a system - an assemblage or combination of things or parts forming a (possibly complex) unitary whole. A system's parts are therefore in relationship to one another - they are interconnected.
- Wisdom - the quality of discernment and the capacity of having insight. It is related to having or applying vision, intelligence, knowledge and understanding. Wisdom is also one of the highest essential energies of life according to Kabbalah. It is an outward projecting masculine energy represented by the second sefirot (energy center or node) of the Tree of Life (the first being the crown which is representative of the Divine Will or of intent [desire or preference]).
- Holistic - a system or entity that has an identity that is at once both dependent upon and independent of the
individual parts that are within it. Its identity or core essence is more than the sum of its constituents. It is a transcendent, possibly "emergent" property of the system - a unique "energy".
A good example would be a human being. Each of us has an "I" essence (a "self" that is self-aware!
Think about that for a second!) that is more than the sum of the biochemical substances that make up our physical bodies. This "I" self-essence (sometimes referred to in religious and spiritual circles as "soul") transcends the linear physical addition of body parts - in fact this essence/energy may actually be considered to "give birth" to the physical body.
- Dynamical - characterized by change, movement, growth, evolution, progress. Kabbalah is a dynamical process just as
life itself is.
- Nonlinear - literally means not linear. A linear system is characterized by the whole being strictly equal
to the sum of its parts (therefore non-holistic). Some systems behave in seemingly "nonsystematic" ways. That is, their behavior appears random or accidental in nature. Yet this is illusory because underneath this outward manifestation of the system lies a nonlinear, deterministic "method to the madness."
Nonlinear systems can also behave in a linear fashion in which graded
inputs into the system lead to graded responses of the system (graded energy taken in leads to graded energy produced and sent out). Yet, a nonlinear system also has the ability to respond in a "dramatic" fashion to a tiny input or vice-versa (a large input leading to a small or null response). Nonlinear systems are therefore flexible, adaptable and robust. They are also naturally multidimensional. The flip side is that it is hard to predict the behavior of a nonlinear system very far into the future. But that is what makes life exciting, no?
A flow diagram of Kabbalah might therefore look like this:
Nonlinear --> Dynamical --> Holistic --> Wisdom --> System --> Kabbalah
(please read Thinking Nonlinearly About Nonlinear Brain Dynamics:

In a nonlinear dynamical holistic (NDH) system, its constituent parts, through their interactions, influence the
overall behavior of the system. This is sometimes referred to (in engineering circles) as a "bottom up" effect. At the same time the system's "I" essence - which seems to emerge as a type of overall, global personality of the system - projects itself "downward" to influence the system's constituent parts. This is sometimes referred to as a "top down" effect.
The bottom-up/top-down interactions of this particular NDH wisdom system are characterized by the six-pointed star known as the Seal of Solomon or also as the Shield (or Star) of David - probably the most important and sacred geometric symbol of Kabbalah and of course, Judaism - one that is well over 3,000 years old!
Kabbalah holds important keys to world peace and to personal fulfillment. It has changed my life, along with many, many others over the last half millenium. In this it has a long (over 4,000 year) and very successful track record.
Kabbalah is not represented by any single organization, person, culture or even religion. No one can claim ownership of it at the expense of anyone else! It is a universal gift given by God to all peoples (myth/legend has it that the Kabbalah was originally given to Adam and Eve by Archangel Raziel) - a gift of almost unimaginable benefit and blessing to those who exercise their free will by choosing to partake of it! It has close ties to the spiritual core underpinnings of all the major religions, both Eastern and Western, supporting and augmenting them.
In this lifetime I grew up in Brooklyn, New York "scratching and clawing" my way "up." I spent decades of my life angry, depressed, anxious, fearful and trying to "be in control" of the circumstances I found myself in. Kabbalah has changed all of that for me. I am a different person today. This is not to say that I don't ever experience negative feelings. I do, however the difference now is that I recognize these as powerful "messages" for personal growth. Kabbalah and the consciousness of it provides tremendously effective antidotes for what I call the "four-headed monster" - fear, anger, depression and anxiety.
For years I wallowed in self-pity about what a terrible childhood I had, what a victim I was. Through my 30 year journey as a scientist, engineer and student of Kabbalah I now understand what an incredible gift it has all been! I would not change a thing that has happened. I am here to tell the tale thank you dear Lord, and am blessed to be in a position to offer assistance to others with what I've been gifted.
Kabbalah hands down, can provide key answers to the massive health crises of the "four-headed monster" in the US and around the world. There are over 19 million American adults alone suffering from depression. There are many more Americans that suffer from the effects of panic, fear, anger and anxiety.
If you are one of those individuals or know someone who is, Kabbalah and the consciousness of it can
definitely help you to overcome. The bottom line is that these conditions are all treatable if not curable! Could you imagine the effect on the entire globe if just 10% of those affected by depression could be relieved of this? I believe it would be staggering - just 10%! I have witnessed truly amazing transformation of my clients, sometimes in a single session!
