Re: The Teacher's Series, Shoud 6 given by Adamus Saint-Germain
January 6th, 2007

Last Revised Thursday, 2/22/07

When Geoff asked me to write this monthly perspective on the shoud for the Crimson Circle and for Shaumbra University I was delighted, and I am deeply honored and grateful for the opportunity to do so. Two days before the January gathering Geoff and I had had a lengthy phone conversation that touched on many of the topics that our esteemed colleague, the incomparable one, Professor Adamus Saint-Germain would subsequently expand upon in this month's channel.

The best word I can use to describe the channel is "rich." Saint-Germain provided a cornucopia of materials for this and future articles. In fact, Saint-Germain, in that one shoud reviewed many of the core concepts of much of my work as a biomedical research professor and metaphysician over the past 17 years. He discussed ideas that are congruent with several revolutionary shifts that have taken place in science - and therefore in our worldview - over the past several centuries (since at least Sir Isaac Newton's head collided with that virtual apple). Then as a bonus Saint-Germain began laying out the rubrics of a "new interdimensional and omniversal physics." I would say that while the "old" philosophy is dead according to Kuthumi, a new one has been birthed to take its place. Saint-Germain had this to say about this new physics: "This is scientific. This isn't theory or philosophy. This is specific, what you would call interdimensional physics that are taking place right now. You can literally plot it and chart it mathematically - up to a point, because then we go off even the math scale of how energies work."

A New Year, a New Era and a New Way Begins

You may be wondering "do we really need to have the perspectives of a scientist/engineer - a brain scientist at that - to provide us with a lot of 'mental stuff' about the shouds?" Even Saint-Germain said in the channel "thought is the enemy of divinity - get rid of it." Before anyone condemns me however, I confess to the charge of sharing ideas with you in these articles, but let's not be too hasty sending me to the gallows just yet.

As Tobias has pointed out, it is we Divine humans here on earth that must "take in" the teachings of the Crimson Council. We must integrate and transform the grand potentials of the information in the Tobias Materials into manifest energy. Neither Tobias, Kuthumi, nor Saint-Germain can do this for us. Saint-Germain said: "..how do you access that (speaking of the New Way)? How do you bring that in? Well don't call me. It's your problem. I mean that lovingly. It is your situation. It is your making. It is your creation." We Divine humans are the engineers, the builders, the co-creator Gods that will choose to either "just do it" or lay on the couch watching those collisions and saying "wow, look at that!" in a trance-like state. ;-)

The purpose of Shaumbra University on earth as I see it is to serve as a vehicle to assist all of us in the tasks of transforming the myriad potentials that Saint-Germain discussed this month into actualized New Energy in our now reality. In this monthly column I will share my observations on the channels with you by delving into some of the ideas and relating them to concepts I'm familiar with from the realms of science, engineering, mathematics, spirituality (e.g. Kabbalah) and even the new philosophy. Undoubtedly we will be using our brains, minds and our thoughts, however in truth we will be increasingly accessing "the new consciousness", which expands well beyond the mind, and will devote a fair amount of space to what that is all about.

This first article will be longer than most as we need to cover some preliminaries and basic concepts for future installments. My key objective here, as a teacher of the New Energy, will be to share insights with you, insights that go beyond mere thought and/or reason, insights that (hopefully) resonate with the totality of our being. Think of what we will be doing as "painting with ideas and symbols" - a form of New Energy art.

Suffice to say for now that intelligence, wisdom, understanding and knowledge are not (nor have they ever truly been) confined to the brain/mind. In fact going even further back than Tobias' first lifetime on earth, our ancient wisdom masters understood that the heart is the true "seat" of knowledge and wisdom and that these four attributes are not only distributed throughout the entire body, they are distributed across all levels of soul AND they are part and parcel of the very fabric of creation itself. That would indicate that even a rock on the ground has within it an aspect of these four - more than a mere spark of consciousness.

Somewhere along the line, the mind fought a dualistic battle with the rest of the body and declared itself the master of intelligence if not of the whole omniverse. The time has come for this new consciousness to take its place as the seat of universal Divine intelligence.

Certainly there will be those who will not agree with some or perhaps even many of my views. In that case please feel free to forward your letters and emails of dissent to Mr. Geoffrey Hoppe of Golden CO (just kidding Geoff ;-)). Actually, it may not even be a bad thing for me to upset a few of you every now and then. At least I'll know that I've gotten your attention and you're reading this! Some may either find little interest in the subject matter or that reading these articles proves to be the perfect antidote to your insomnia. I'm pleased to serve in any way I can!

This will not be for everybody, only for those who will choose to benefit from it. Please feel free to take from it only what you find of interest and leave the rest behind. There is sure to be plenty of "fodder" here for the Crimson Circle online discussion forum and I invite you to use it for that purpose.

With that in mind let us make a start together. We're going to discuss several of the topics raised by Saint-Germain in this shoud. The material he presented here was so extensive that it would take at least several articles to cover them fully. Some of you who were present at the 2003 and 2005 Midsummer New Energy Conferences may recall that I touched on several of these in my talks there. Others, such as the concepts of

are topics that go even beyond present conceptions of physics and relate to the comparatively new scientific areas of system theory and information theory (these are only about 40 years young). These two sciences are truly at the core of revolutions in our current view of the world and of the universe itself - and have significantly influenced modern physics, biology and medicine.

In addition to Divinity, Saint-Germain also discussed some other important topics that relate to this previous group:

We cover some or most of these in the following.

The World of Symbols, Information and Meaningness

First, we lay some groundwork by recognizing the existence of a "world" level that both transcends and permeates all other worlds. It is the world of symbols, information and inherent meaningness of those symbols and information. We may think of this as the world of dreams (or of dream imagery) and/or the world of imagination. This world is clearly "primary" with respect to our everyday 4 dimensional one of time and space. It is a world that forms the glue that in a sense binds all other worlds together in a very non-restrictive manner.

The worlds of information, imagery, imagination, symbols, even thoughts, are the fundamental stuff of which the world of our everyday experience is most fundamentally and fully constructed. This is the "stuff" of consciousness, and these in turn relate to energy. Information itself is born of energy and New Energy is "generated" or created from information. They are integrally connected and weaved into the very fabric of consciousness - a manifestation of the energy and information that emanates and flows from Divinity, from Spirit. Kabbalah has always referred to this emanation as "The Endless Light" - אין סוף אור - Ain Soph Ohr in Hebrew, of the Boundless - אין סוף - Ain Soph. This last Name (approximately translated as "That Who is Without Bound"), is one of the most important references to Spirit in Kabbalah.

When Albert Einstein reminded us of the relationship between energy and mass with the world's most famous physics equation E = mc2, we made the "aha" connection that energy is the fundamental "stuff" of creation - matter being just another form of it. One implication of this is that "nothing touches nothing." Collisions therefore are actually interactions of energy sources - that is even the case when my cheek has been slapped and I offer up the other one. ;-) Saint-Germain spoke a great deal about collisions and we will revisit this later. But first he described his magnificence, and indeed our own.

"You are Magnificent!"

Saint-Germain - the splendiferous one tells us to imagine walking into our workplaces and announcing our own magnificence to all who might otherwise put us in straightjackets. We hardly recognize this within ourselves generally speaking, and I would venture to say that much of this planet's present ills can be traced to that self-imposed blindness. Saint Germain pointed out that our magnificence is not ego-based, it simply IS - "I Am that I Am!" Let us here review where this phrase comes from, what it means and what it says about humanity and Divinity.

When good ol' Moses was on the run in the desert after slaying an Egyptian taskmaster, he saw the renowned burning bush that is not consumed. There he listens and hears the voice of Spirit who instructs Moses to bring the Israelite nation out of Egypt (Exodus 3:13). Moses, being the humble sort he was, asks, "when I say to the children of Israel 'the God of your fathers has sent me to you' and they say to me 'what is his name?' what shall I tell them?" Spirit replies (in the original Hebrew) אהיה אשר אהיה - Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh - which may be translated alternatively as "I Am That I Am", "I Am That I Will Be", or "I Will Be That I Will Be." One may also take this phrase to mean:

I AM pure Beingness itself. I AM known to you in the unfolding of events.

When Saint-Germain speaks of potentials he is referring to "I Am" (Ehyeh). "I Am that I Am" therefore is a type of statement in which potential is transformed into expressed action or frank manifestation. Remember that Saint-Germain can readily transmute rock into gold. How can he? He can (and so can you because of your magnificence ;-)) because the rock has bound up within it the potential to actually become gold! There is gold "locked up inside it" in a sense, waiting to be transformed. "I Am that I Am" can be thought of as a type of "manufacturing process" in which potential energy is converted into useable, actualized energy - a process sometimes referred to as transmutation of energy. We will come back to these ideas a bit later.

Both "I Am that I Am" and the Hebrew Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh, are near palindromic phrases - meaning they are almost the same read forwards as backwards - that is, such phrases are almost symmetric, similar (but not identical) to a reflection of oneself in a mirror. Such a reflection is like an image of something that simply refers to itself or folds back onto itself.

This type of near-reflection is an important key not only to an essential characteristic of Spirit but also to the workings of the system in creation. Expansion into the New Energy is "fueled" by this near self-referentiality. If a particular name happens to be an exact palindrome then a kind of universal self-replication would simply keep repeating the pattern over and over again. That would be one mechanism of creation for sure albeit not very exciting. That the name I Am that I Am is a self-reflection "with a twist" (being nearly symmetric) enables the creation of New Energy due to its slight variation and asymmetry.

Engines of Creation

Science has now rediscovered this fundamental omniversal property of self-referentiality as an engine of creation over the past half century or so. For example, the known double helical structure of the DNA itself has its own near mirror symmetry that allows transcription to occur (I would dare say that even 12 stranded DNA has this property).

We also see this symmetry in Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh in a most striking manner when we consider the gematria (numerology) of this name. Saint-Germain touched upon this topic also in the channel pointing out that numerology has important symbolic significance as indicators of New Energy expansion. When we add up the numerical equivalent values of this name's Hebrew letters we find that they sum to 543. This is an interesting number in itself as its digits add up to 12 (as in 12 stranded DNA). If we play the same gematria game with the word Moshe - משה - Hebrew for Moses, the total sums to 345, the exact reverse of 543! Notice how these two numbers are "numerical mirror reflections" of each other.

Does this tell us anything metaphorical about the relationship between humanity and Divinity? It clearly says that the two are fundamentally not distinct from each other - they are mirror images - and therefore have an equivalence (meaning that the two are unified) indicating that the human is also Divine and that Divinity is inextricably and irrevocably bound up with humanity. In the Kabbalistic myths and legends, Spirit lovingly creates the omniverse with the first act being that of self-reflection, thus giving "birth" to the Divine Mother and Father. Of Divinity, Saint-Germain said: "Divinity is something indescribable. Infinitely personal beyond anything that you could have imagined it to have been in your old consciousness. Divinity is delicate but yet it is enduring. Divinity is gentle. It can move mountains. .." I would add that Divinity cannot be "encompassed" by any thought(s), idea(s), or name(s) even though it is personal (it cares about you). No possible discussions can ever "corral" it! Yet the wonder is we can explore it, talk about it, be in it and are of it.

A Few Numerology Games

Isn't it also interesting that the Hebrew word for love - אהבה - ahavah has similar near-palindromic properties as Ehyeh asher Ehyeh? Its numerological equivalent happens to be 13. Let's play a numerology game! Note that words with the same gematria (numerical value) must be related to each other in meaning somehow. The word in Hebrew for unity or oneness - is אחד - echad, whose gematria is also equal to 13. "Love is one."

The so-called watchword of the Jewish faith is a 6 word passage from the Book of Deuteronomy (6:4). It translates as "Hear O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is One." Three of the six words relate to God and the passage says that the three are truly one. If you read the number 13 from right to left as "3 is 1" or "3 in 1" it gives new meaning to the number 13. We've all heard the expression "God is love." It is a fundamental recognition of Divine wholeness - such wholeness being the essence of love (now don't forget about that 13th DNA strand!).

The 13th letter of the Hebrew aleph-bet is מ - mem (the 13th letter of the English alphabet is "em" M). The sound of mem or the letter M has only a single audio frequency component in it. The sound of the letter is the principal one of the universal mantra "om" interestingly enough. Mem is one of the 3 so-called mother letters of Hebrew (Hebrew has 22 letters - recall that Saint-Germain asked for the ringing of chimes 22 times during the induction ceremony of Shaumbra as standards of the New Energy back in July).

Let's look at an example - another name, which just happens to be my own - Michael. It starts with the letter M in English, mem in Hebrew. Michael is a Hebrew name - מיכאל - and it translates as "who is like God?" In a dualistic consciousness one might conclude that it would be haughty for parents to give a child that name. Yet, the name in fact is a humble reference to the Divine. Michael contains the Aramaic word maya (Aramaic and Hebrew are closely related) - which is water. Water represents humility, lovingkindness, and a giving personality (I try ;-)).

According to the Kabbalah in fact, Archangel Michael is in charge of the element of water. His trait of humility is demonstrated by the fact that the Hebrew word for "low" is also in his name. As the "high and mighty" collide with the "low and humble" they merge as one in divinity! "As above, so below." In the Book of First Samuel Chapter 2 it says (and as you read this remember that "you are God also!")

It is the Lord who gives life and death;
he brings people to the grave and back.
It is the Lord who gives poverty and riches,
He brings people low and raises them on high.

He lifts up the lowly from the dust,
from the dung heap he raises the poor
to set them in the company of rulers,
to give them a seat of honor.

In the "place" where Divine and human are one, the descriptors "low" and "high" have no significance as they do in a dualistic frame. All of us are simply "I Am that I Am!" We are all at the same "preferred level" - beloved of Spirit! As Yeshua pointed out in the Sermon on the Mount, the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to the poor, and the meek shall inherit the earth.

Now the gematria of the Hebrew name of Michael happens to equal 101 - an exact numeric palindrome! This is fascinating because one who is named Michael "reflects" divinity through the meaning of this name, while its gematria in turn is a true reflection of itself (a good reference to learn about other Biblical names is the book "What's in a Name?" by the renowned gematria scholar Matitiyahu Glazerson).

Kabbalistic lore posits that the 22 letters of Hebrew are the tools - the "basal" energies with which Spirit creates all that is. As one believes and conceives with letters, words, and numbers so does one create their own reality. Note that the digits of 22 (2 + 2), add up to 4, and the digits of 13 (1 + 3), also add up to 4. Do you recall Tobias speaking about the "4 legs of the stool of reality" back in July at the MSNEC? Wonders abound.

Hope to have more fun with numerology games in future articles. Saint-Germain pointed out that they are reflections of cosmic mathematics and they provide insights into how the system in creation works.

What is a Standard?

This all brings further clarity to the meaning of a Standard. It is one who sets their sights for themselves at a "high" level - a level we continuously aspire to reach in an asymptotic manner (some refer to this process as "ascension", returning or reconnecting), yet it is a level that we have always been at all along - if we are willing to look inside of ourselves and be fully aware of this truth! Like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, we have always carried Home inside of us on our travels. But in another sense we "descended" when we embodied in human form, angels that chose to squeeze into the bottleneck of Earth and temporarily hide that angelness from ourselves.

The trick for us Divine humans is to manage this descension process as we turn toward the Light and continually reconnect with Source - both processes symbolized by the ancient Shield (Star) of David with its interlocking equilateral triangles, one pointing toward the heavens, one pointing earthward. In modern techno-babble this is referred to as a "bottom-up, top-down process." Our ancient wisdom masters expressed it: "as above, so below." Saint-Germain took us up to Angel's Peak, where we have a nice, wide-angle vista overlooking the world.

This "flipside" relationship between Moses and God tells us that humanity and divinity are integrally connected - indeed they are one. Moses spoke to both God and himself. God spoke to Moses and himself. Here then, is insight from the ancient Kabbalah into Tobias' statement "you are God, also." From out of the "old" is continually birthed New Energy creation. Such a deal. ;-)

So now, if you are inspired to walk into your boss's office and announce the truth of your magnificence - thus deserving of a huge raise, we are here to cheer you on - all in the background of course.

A System's View of the Omniverse

Saint-Germain. made mention of systems with respect to business and beliefs. We understand a system to be an assemblage or combination of objects forming a (possibly complex) unitary whole. The pieces or "subsystems" can be connected in a myriad of ways. The entire system can be closed (nothing going into it from outside, nothing leaving it), or open (energy/information is moved into the system and/or sent out of it). Systems in which the whole is equal to the sum of its parts are known as linear and reductionistic. These systems usually take in energy/information from the outside, use that energy/information in some manner, then send some of it out. In a linear system the amount of output energy/information is in proportion with the amount taken into the system in the first place.

A system in which the whole of it is MORE than the sum of its individual parts is considered to be fundamentally not linear ("nonlinear"). For about the last 500 years before around 1960, humanity believed that most natural systems in the world were fundamentally linear. These systems were for the most part deterministic and predictable in their behaviors. During this time our view of the world was also biased because we only had measurement and observation tools that allowed us to see systems in a restricted, linear way. It was like we were wearing a pair of dark shades.

Given the shifts that occurred with the advent of two major scientific and philosophical world perspectives - quantum theory and relativity - our view of the world began to shift dramatically and we now see that in fact most natural systems are fundamentally nonlinear in basis. Saint-Germain gave an example of that when he spoke about light having 500 potentials colliding with dark having 500 potentials - the resulting energies that manifest in this encounter are much more than 1000 (500 + 500) or even 500 times 500 as Saint-Germain pointed out. If the result happened to be 500 "factorial" (500 x 499 x 498 x 497 x 496 x .... x 1) the resulting number would have over 1100 zeroes in it - about 1000 zeroes more than the total amount of energy and matter scientists believe is in the entire cosmos!

I refer to these systems as nonlinear dynamical holistic systems. A dynamical system is simply one that is not static - it is ever-evolving and expanding. A holistic system has an almost paradoxical identity that is at once both dependent upon and independent of the individual parts that make it up. Its core essence is more than the sum of its constituents - its very nature is both integrative and facilitative (meaning that the energy of its parts amplify one another). A holistic system often produces what are referred to as emergent behaviors whose appearance cannot generally be predicted from the behaviors of the individual parts of the system. This relates to the matter of energy collisions that Saint-Germain discussed (more on that below).

Clearly the system in creation - the one we have all designed together - is a nonlinear dynamical holistic system. We divine humans are also such systems. Although the word "system" may seem a bit cold when applied to ourselves, we are no different in that respect than our very parts, down to our cells and molecules. Each part of us is such a system too - with two additional twists - we are inexactly self-referential or recursive, and we are brilliant according to Saint-Germain. ;-)

Recall Tobias' discussion 2 months ago about focusing on that single healthy cell in your body. That one cell is a universe unto itself. Our entire being is in that one cell while that cell is one of trillions that make up our body - all capable of communicating with one another. Our ability to use that one healthy cell to heal our entire body is a consequence of the self-referential nature of New Energy creation. In this new era there is a new way. Systems do not have to take in energy and send it out. Energy is inherent in systems. Their properties are now such that they are sovereign - everything they "need" is already available to them within! Distinctions between inside and outside are key. The new physics "realizes" that (in the words of physicist Fred Alan Wolf) "there is no out there out there."

Chaotic Systems - Generators of Vast Potential

Science has fairly recently identified a particular type of nonlinear dynamical system that takes on the technical name - chaotic. The flipside of a chaotic process is an orderly one. Chaos and order are indeed not distinct - they are inseparable - we know this from science. The hallmark of chaotic systems is that there is an underlying "method to the madness." Despite the seemingly random or accidental appearing behavior of such systems there is a fundamental determinism underneath it all.

These are fascinating from our perspective as spiritual-science innovators because such systems clearly demonstrate that the "real reality" of a situation extends far beyond the world of appearances and perceptions. In Kabbalah we say that only one percent of reality is perceived by humanity, the remaining 99 percent not receivable by the five senses (by the way - the word Kabbalah - קבלה - means "receiving" or "received tradition"). Science has lagged behind what Kabbalah has known for millennia in that it has only recognized the truth of the one percent over the last century or so.

Chaotic systems are highly sensitive to initial system conditions - an example of this is the so-called butterfly effect (a butterfly flapping its wings in China leads to a hurricane in the Caribbean). Their predictability is short term at best - a small alteration in the initial conditions generally leads to substantial divergence in system behavior. Such systems create fascinating objects called "strange attractors" - distinctive conformations that exist in a multidimensional universe referred to as phase or state space. Chaotic systems in a sense are powerful vortical generators of New Energy and information! They are gateways to a vast realm of close-to-infinite possibilities and potentialities.

Yet most humans prefer to shun all involvement with chaos in their lives - certainly understandable. We have an ingrained set of biases about what appears to us as chaos in our lives - that is "its bad news, so shun it." Humans get mesmerized by the drama of the behavior of the system as Saint-Germain pointed out and miss that big picture. Counter-intuitively, chaos is indeed a phenomenon that science has now demonstrated can be mastered by humans and actually fairly easily in many cases. Many chaotic processes are subject to gentle command (as opposed to over-control) - these include many of the ones we experience in our daily lives. That ability to exercise command of them does not require massive collisions, confrontations or large inputs of energies. In fact, "gentle steering" and "collaborating" with the system are the keys to success.

Step number one then is to be aware of the true nature of these systems and develop insight into how they work (sans the fine details). Therefore, you now have the first keys to begin to master much of the seeming chaos in your life. To summarize these keys, one is that the flipside of chaos is order - a dualism similar to an object and its inverted mirror image. Another is a consequence of the first - we can master chaos without needing to strain and without massive expenditure of energy. Chaos and nonlinear dynamical systems in general provide us with vast opportunity and potential just waiting for us to tap into.

Attractors and Dimensionality

The topic of dimensions was discussed by Saint-Germain. This is a very important one in science/mathematics as well as in life generally. Dimensionality in a nonmathematical sense relates to depth or robustness as in "George is a multi-dimensional person." The concept of dimensions in physics relates to independent characteristics or qualities of something. For example a three-dimensional object has breadth, depth and height. Space-time in itself has four dimensions that are coupled. The theoretic microscopic objects physicists call strings, postulated as the smallest constituents of matter have as many as 10 to 26 dimensions depending on which string theory one subscribes to. So far, most of these dimensions beyond four are not observable because they are folded up somehow like a ball of twine into the other four dimensions.

Notice how this concept of dimensionality only allows for whole numbers of them (1, 2, 3, .). But imagine an object with a non-integer dimension such as 2.37 rather than 2 or 3. Such objects do in fact exist in mathematics. They are referred to as fractals. A fractal is an object that has nonlinear characteristics and is self-similar at all size-scale levels. They have continuous rather than discrete dimensionality. An object with a dimension of 2.37 has a geometrical structure intermediate between a line, which is two dimensional, and a plane, which is three dimensional. The discovery of continuous dimensionality means that there are an infinite number of them! As Saint-Germain said, "they flow and swirl", and have no limits or boundaries.

Potential and Energy

What even is a potential? It is an actual, real energy that has simply not expressed itself yet. It is "energy on hold" but nevertheless it is present, powerful and plentiful. Before anything came into manifest being there existed nothing but unlimited amounts of it. The entire omniverse is born of potential. In Kabbalistic tradition, the universe was created by Spirit ex nihilo - out of no-thing. However, there WAS potential, potential which is still in unlimited supply all around us, just waiting to be converted into useable energy. The physicists have a term they sometimes use for this potential - the quantum "foam."

This so-called foam is composed of an uncountably infinite number of bubbles, each one a universe unto itself. The entire omniverse is like a giant bubble bath! These bubbles have the potential energy content to move mountains for us and they are literally alive! When we decide to exercise our ability to make choices based on our desires and passions, rather than what we think we need or what others think we need then those mountains will begin to move for us.

When we choose to be in the fullness of who we truly are and what we came here to achieve, those potentials will automatically transform into kinetic energy of successful action for us. That is the way of the new omniversal physics. As Saint-Germain said, the potentials exist to serve us. Choose them and we choose life! Letting them pass us by is a default choice - one to allow our life to whither away.

Our passion, excitement, and chutzpah is our life force energy. May we choose to actualize it rather than allow mass consciousness to get the best of us. Time to hop on Pegasus the white, winged horse or take a ride on Saphira the winged dragon - I'm sure Eragon wouldn't mind! Once we choose our potentials and "ride them" whole new pathways open up for us. Things happen that we never dreamed could - whole new synchronicities. It is the nature of the foamy, bubbly potentials to "begat" more potentials, once we choose them.

But what of energy? In the context of present-day physics, energy may be thought of as "the capacity to do work." When a force is applied over a certain distance (performing work), energy is expended. There are two main types: energy in potential as discussed before, and energy related to movement (sometimes referred to as "kinetic"). Interestingly enough, outside the context of physics, there is no single universal definition of this word! Perhaps, a good general one might be: a potential for causing a change.  From this we see that the terms potential, energy and change (or dynamics) are interrelated.

There are many different forms of energy that we observe: gravitational, heat, electromagnetic, solar, etc.  One of the cornerstones of physics is the so-called Law of  Conservation of Energy.  It holds that energy can neither be created nor destroyed, but only converted from one form into another. Thus, the total energy of the universe always remains constant - a very large yet finite amount of it.   I believe that the "new interdimensional physics" may be at odds with this law in at least one respect: there is an infinite available supply of New Energy potential.

In Kabbalah as well as some other types of mysticism, a primary energy source is metaphysical Light (Ain Soph Ohr mentioned before) which emanates from Source. As such it is indeed endless.  Spirit commences cosmic creation by uttering words about this  - "Let there be Light, and there was Light."   Regardless of whether there is a finite or infinite amount of  energy, the more important question for us may be "will we choose to utilize this New Energy, which is readily available all around and within us in the now moment?"   First, becoming aware that this New Energy is ours to use through the exercise of our choice, is the first, most critical step in doing so.

2007 - The Year of Collisions and Explosions

Saint-Germain had a great deal to say about collisions and explosions. Note that because matter is a form of energy, even when material bodies collide - it is appropriate to think of this more in terms of an "interaction of distinct energies" such as when light meets dark. An explosion of new energies and new potentials can result from the interaction of two dualistic energies such as negative and positive, or masculine and feminine. The energies actually exchange with one another in an unprecedented manner that can give rise to a whole new level as Saint-Germain pointed out. The universe itself arose from the cataclysmic explosion of the Big Bang and a major mechanism of ongoing creation in the universe is the collision of galaxies - out of which new ones containing billions of stars and planets are born. Not all such interactions need be explosive or violent. They can be gentle, fun and even exhilarating.

In today's physics, we have learned most of what we have about the universe by slamming high-velocity atomic particles against targets inside giant accelerator machines. If you were to take your watch and throw it hard against a wall it would shatter in pieces. All the pieces that fall to the ground would obviously belong to the watch (except for perhaps a piece of the wall). You would not expect to find a new object on the floor, say an onion. But when physicists slam high-speed electrons against a barrier in an accelerator, new unexpected constituents of particulate matter may actually appear! It is from these new forms of energetic matter that we learn what happened in the earliest stages of the Big Bang. This is nonlinear systems at work because the resultant atomic particles that come out of such collisions do not add up in a linear way to the colliding bodies, like they do for your watch.

What this indicates is that "energy interaction", even with explosive consequences, is a generator of new potentialities and possibilities. In the nonlinear dynamical systems framework there are no true accidents of nature. Instead there is an underlying determinism for all events, yet there can be both uncertainty in how those events unfold as well as lack of future predictability. Spirit does not have to know all things, nor do we. But just knowing that there is indeed "a method behind the madness", that there exists general guidelines or blueprints for how the system works (such as realizing that collisions of energy can produce exiting new potentials) allows one to go beyond the drama of the explosive collision itself - to not become mesmerized by it and instead to remain on course and search for and choose the potential opportunities that are readily available right after the collision.

Now this does not mean that we should get in our cars and look for another one to crash into just so we can meet our future spouse for example. We'd probably be better off joining Saint-Germain's "New Era Dating Service" (couldn't resist ;-)). But there will be times when we observe dualistic energies colliding and now we have a new perspective on them. For one, we can see that often these dualistic energies must come together in order to resolve or rectify themselves, or even to annihilate each other in order that a New Energy can be birthed. "Out of the ashes the phoenix rises."

The collision of energies can often completely cleanse the old wounds, scars and/or toxic accumulations of the past - a great gift, in and of itself!

One of the important discoveries of particle physics in the 1950's was that of antimatter. Electrons and protons have antimatter equivalents known as positrons and the anti-protons, respectively. Antimatter is much rarer in the universe than regular matter - good thing for us humans. Occasionally a positron will encounter (collide with) an electron. When they do, both particles "disappear" and a gamma radiation wave appears in their place. It is really an explosive interaction. This is E = mc2 in action while also demonstrating the transmutation of one form of energy (2 particles of matter) into another. It is interesting that the reverse process also occurs with regularity: a pure gamma radiation wave can spontaneously become one positron and one electron flying apart in opposite directions! Collisions and explosions thus represent an important incubator of New Energy. Let's watch some nice fireworks happen this quantum leap year and enjoy the party!

3.7 Million Belief Systems?

Saint-Germain cited the lowball figure (;-)) of 3.7 million primary belief systems (and about an equal number of secondary ones) in the human brain. This sounds like a huge number, except when you consider that the average adult human brain contains between 20 and 100 billion (that's b) neurons and about an equal number of other cells that support the neurons. Each neuron connects to on average around 1000 other neurons, some even inches away from themselves!

First what is a belief system? It is a patterned thought "lodged" across a network (group) of neurons. A patterned thought is an information-energy "packet." We accept these beliefs through our consciousness like a good host. Not all beliefs serve us poorly. Yet, a large number of restrictive, limiting ones end up in our minds by default without much questioning and we then tend to live life with various sorts of blinders on. Therein lies the rub. These beliefs then essentially act like filters of those bubbles of potential by causing us to simply pass up potentials we might ordinarily select in the absence of those restricting beliefs. Remember that according to Saint-Germain unselected potentials eventually rob a person of their life energy.

As Saint-Germain also pointed out, these belief systems are well partitioned by us. If they were not they would most likely create tremendous internal conflict in us which I'm sure many would just as soon do without. But as we know from this shoud, such dualistically conflicting energies are going to begin attracting then colliding with one another as they seek resolution. After all, we asked for a "new way" and this is part of it. Undoubtedly this will be producing some unprecedented "brainstorms" in us during this quantum leap year. But now we realize that on the other side of these fireworks, grand new potentials and opportunities await us.

Death and Life - A Unified Process

Finally (definite pun intended) I return to the topic of death, which Saint-Germain "raised" a few times this month, and it's flipside - life. We're all familiar with the cliché "death is a part of life" but many of us do not as yet take to heart the truth that life and death are one, that death is a multidimensional transition - a melding of existing energies that indeed yields New Energy! Saint-Germain said it this way "You pretend that you don't know what death is like." Saint-Germain also had this to say about death: "Pick something. If you don't, you're going to die. Indeed. You will. You will die because the potentials are there to serve you and if you don't choose them, they're going to go away and when potentials go away ... you have to, again, view potentials as bubbles. When these bubbles go away, you're going to go away too. When your spirit and your consciousness see that there are no potentials left, it basically signals the end of your physical existence."

I learned a great deal about death on an accelerated fast track over the past few years from a personal experience that I would like to share a bit of with you here. My "baby" sister Madeline, age 45, from New Jersey, shed her physical body and returned to the Light on December 26th following a 23-month encounter with kidney cancer. I sense that some may derive their own healing benefit from sharing this with you.

Madeline blessed all of our family including her devoted husband Robert, her 10 year old son Ethan and all her many family and friends with her complete presence. She experienced great suffering and pain in the months leading up to her transition. She did so with good grace and with predominant concern for her family's welfare, rather than her own. For example she did not want my parents to leave the hospital late at night when they were exhausted after a long day spent looking after her - so she would send them home early, "go on home now, I'm fine" when she was anything but. She well prepared her little one Ethan by accompanying him to his therapist and counseling him closely on how he would move forward in her physical absence.

Some months earlier (last February) during a private consult with a channeler, Madeline's spirit came in to converse with me. She informed me that although she had not made up her mind to leave her physical body yet, that there were some grand potentials for her on the other side of the veil that she was looking forward to whenever the "appointed" hour came. I let her know that she did not necessarily have to "leave" in order to choose those potential, something she was not aware of interestingly enough. She told me she would gave that her full consideration. She stayed another 10 months which I consider an immense gift from her!

In the interim, a human angel by the name of Ms. Marty Jackson of the Woodlands, Texas, a dreamwalker par excellence (and trained long before Saint-Germain's death transitions workshops) "appeared to me" to work closely with both myself and Madeline. Marty made the necessary preparations to ensure that Madeline would cross the Bridge of Flowers going directly to the light at the appropriate time with a duly gathered procession of angels led by Archangels Michael and Raphael and with her brother holding her hand and carrying a torch as I had promised her nearly 2 years earlier.

All I needed to do was get to Newark from Houston before the appointed hour of Madeline's "departure." Three days before Madeline would transition (Dec. 22nd), I spoke to her by phone for the last time and asked her if she would wait for me to get there before she "left." She said absolutely. But her physical decline was accelerating. When I arrived at the airport on Christmas morning I found out that Madeline was taken by ambulance to the hospice overnight and my nephew Robert, 25, told me "it's going to be close." The flight to Newark was one of the smoothest and gentlest of my life.

I did of course make it to be with my sister just as she had promised. Although Madeline could no longer speak, I knew that she knew I was there with her because she saw me (she never closed her eyes the remaining time I was with her). I was so blessed to spend her final 10 hours on earth with her, together with all of our family - my mom, dad, other sister, two brother-in-laws, niece and two nephews. At 11 pm Christmas night, exhausted after 3 straight days without sleep, the rest of our family went home and I was left alone to keep vigil with my sister. We spent the last 5 hours of her life together. It was the best time we had ever shared! Madeline finally left her physical body at 4:08 am. I felt a sense of gratitude that she did not linger further.

Madeline's funeral had been picture perfectly arranged by my brother-in-law and dad to be a true celebration of her life, attended by almost 350 people. My sister developed an amazing network of friends. Along with my dad, brother-in-law, other sister, cousin, and Madeline's best friend I was blessed to give a final eulogy. In it I relate the story of what I learned about my sister and me in this our lifetime together. I recorded it and you are welcome to download and listen to the mp3 file by clicking right here. For those of you who have taken the Dreamwalker death transitions workshop, or are considering doing so, may you find this story from my life beneficial to you in your own process of awareness concerning the relationship between death and life.

Postscript

I am sure you have not heard the last word from me regarding this month's amazing shoud. No doubt we will revisit it and perhaps even go back to previous shouds as we play together with ideas, feelings, experiences and yes, even thoughts (perish them not!). We will also be discussing what is a quantum leap and a great deal more over the next few months.

Thank you all for allowing me to share with you. Thank you Saint-Germain, Tobias, Kuthumi and Quan Yin.

Until next time - I AM with you, always.
